first story, Asterix the Gaul, we see how important
the druid's role is. Very much in demand, he is kidnaped, this first
time, by the Romans. In Asterix and the Goths,
he is again kidnaped after having won the Druid of the Year contest.
In Asterix and the Soothsayer, he needs all his
wisdom to bring peace and quiet back to the village... Im
ersten Abenteuer lebte er noch ausserhalb des Dorfes in einer Höhle.
Später gehört er zu den Bewohnern des Dorfes. He is the
only guardian of the secret recipe of the magic potion. Always carries
a golden sickle.
