to tell Asterix that he saw the bard being kidnapped. In Asterix
and Cleopatra, he is the first to see Obelix, Asterix and
Getafix, as they return from Alexandria.

Picanmix is
sly: since he’s so young, he can do nothing to prevent Cacofonix’s
kidnapping; however, he runs to get help from the village. He’s always
the first to know and smiles broadly when he sees his heroes come
back.
